Alexandra Rose Raisman, born May 25, 1994, is an American retired gymnast who was an artistic. She was also twice Olympian. She was captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and 2016 "Final Five" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Both won their respective teams competitions.At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in both floor and team competitions and also the bronze medal for the balance beam, making her the most decorated American gymnast of the Games. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she was awarded a gold medal in the team competition which made her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the sole Americans with back-to-back team gold medals. Morgan was born July 2nd, 1989 to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. Morgan, along with her sisters Jeni and Jeri were raised in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan was multisport in her childhood, however she first discovered soccer when she was 14. Morgan then became a member of the Cypress Elite club team, winning the Coast Soccer League under-16 championship and coming in third place in the under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to refine her skills in soccer in Diamond Bar High School. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has selected Morgan as an All-American Athlete. In addition, she was a part of the both state and regional divisions in the Olympic Development Program (ODP).
